Is there an IRC or other chat channel for Istarians?
Kinda want to chat with all me scaled friends again :)
(and the unscaled ones as well :P)
If not, I would suggest to implement a mibbit chat page on the community page or maybe a shoutbox.

Cobal I am not sure why you left but one option my be the free Human only Demo account. To at least stop by and chat and see what is going on with the game.
Oh indeed that would be a fair option.
However I kinda wanted to chat with the Istarians while I'm at work :P
Ah well then the option you offered would have been good as well then. :D
COBAL:):):):) it`s been a while.
So good to see you at least on the forum again!!!
Find old and new friends and mates on all shards, if you may want to drop in via
Demo account.
And get Cobal transfered on a shard of your choice.
Our great support team will be happy to do this - and man- they are fast.
WE are still here, and everyday I see old mates return.
*wingwaves* The skies of Istaria are waiting for you:)
There's an unofficial chat at irc(dot)glowfish(dot)de on IRC. :D
Channel is #horizons
Good to see you on the forums again Cobal! Never used irc much myself... really should take a look.Rakku
irc.stratics.com #horizons is still around. You can get to it using a chat client or by the java client linked on the left side of community.istaria.com
yea the IRC channel use to be pretty dang popular most nights...I guess it was the stratics one...I rarely went there except during dev interviews (yea we had'em..)
Well, it's still Stratics, I just use a different server. :p
There used to be an irc server run by Tulga. That got shut down when they were disbanded. That was the really popular one.
Veruliyam is correct, the current channel (#horizons) is on Stratics.
For those of you who can't connect directly to an IRC server, there is a web-based client (not Java) over at http://bristugo.com/irc.
The channel is quiet these days, so it might take a bit to get any response, but hey, you get what you put into it, eh? :p
