I died 3 times from seemly one hit while helping Cixi kill Gatus. Here's what I found in my logs:
[08/30/17 12:21:14] Gatus hit you with Seeping Blight XII for 404210 slash damage.

[08/30/17 12:21:33] Cixi has been killed.
Can someone check Gatus out and find out what the deal is please? thank you
Yes, that is what happened. I think a million damage on one hit is a bit excessive, no?
here's another odd thing I see when I recalled after that death. look at this recall heal:

I think the number system is somehow bugged on Order
I am told by some players on disconnetc, or whatever it's called now.. that this is turning into a disaster because it was brought up. but here's the entire last fight, judge for yourself, or go try it yourself. I don't care.

Believe what you want. I am told this is a random thing with his hits. but this is not random. especially 2 people being killed nearly same time by same creature. this needs to be fixed. I was on my dragon. He is no noob, and has killed him 3 times before maintenance without a single issue. now 3 fights in a row he's killed instantaneously. This is not what I consider random.
You say you killed him no problems before maint 3 times, but had issues today, isn't that what random really is though, an outcome you cannot predict? unless you mean getting insta-shot by his 1/10 chance a few times, in which case I would love to explain to people that, just because it's 1/10, doesn't mean it only happens once every 10 hits. heck it could happen 6 times in a row, but never again for the next 60, in those first 6 hits it will feel like a 100% chance, but RNG isn't just in the moment, it's over a prolonged period and random. Not to mention you can't put a hard cap on it, it's an average over totals that go on into infinity.Quote:

I could see it being "random" if it happened one out of 3 fights. not kill 2 people 3 out of 3 fights nearly instantly. This was more like he was stuck with his instant kill ability on.Quote:

Here's the problem with your less than logical explanation: If I kill him for 3 days straight every spawn and he doesn't use his ability, but now on 4th day every fight for an entire day, he uses that ability to one shot me, that's fine cause it is random, correct?. No. This does not constitute as "random".. Means something is wrong and needs to be explored which is the only answer you have NOT given, that at least it would be looked into as a possible problem.Quote:

I could see this being much more, if he actually dropped something of high value. This potions created from this scroll he protects so well is about as useful as blighted gear with bad side effects. so pardon me if I am missing the reasoning behind a creature having this much power.
