Events & Mimic's

Ok I love the Present Mimic's.. So

Why not have other mimic's for other events.
(Ex)
Jack-O-Lantern
Fluffy White rabbit
Yellow Duckie

The list is endless.

I know it would take some work, but it would make for more fun too..

We have plenty of ideas on the to-do list for future events, easter is likely the next one we're looking at. ;)

'looking at' are keywords though, there's no promises yet.

The presents are fun.

But I wouldn't want all events to have just one more new cargo disk to go find either. Just don't over-do it with the pets :)

And some of the better pet ideas, like a miniature kwellen (sog), miniature flame golem, those we would want to spread out over time, and not bang them all out in 1 years' worth of events. After that year is up, what would be next?

Anyway, I love the presents too even though I probably won't get the "pet". They make me laugh, especially when they're
running. Thank you, whoever designed them and animated them to move the way they do.

it won't all be pets ;) some events might offer unique equip-ables, or spells. It all depends on how much time the event team can invest in it.

If ya'll willing to set up a specification for models and textures and a mailbox for submissions, I'm willing to bet some of us would flood you with items (most of which likely could be used!).

Take a look at Trion World's setup for this... it works, and players love to be able to help out.

Heck, you could parley that into a content store for holidays and a great deal more... limited edition collectibles that are strictly "vanity" in nature is money.

Add the creator's name on the tooltip and I'd toss my hat in this ring. (Just saying.)
