I present to you:
The Lairshaping Process
The first stage: optimism. "Today's the day I make my lair even more beautiful! Look out world, I'm on a mission!"
Then reality starts to seep in. "Okay, where'd I put my master plan? It's around here somewhere... is it here? Ugh, did I stick it on one of THESE shelves? Come out, come out little lair planner...."
You'll find your master plan eventually, but then you realize that you forgot to note down half the stuff you did a week ago, so you have to go look at everything again anyways.
Eventually you'll find something to work on. Do that for a little bit, until your hands get sore.
Eventually get bored with that "progress" thing, and instead wander off to go look at the stuff you REALLY want to work on.
At which point you'll make the mistake of looking at the numbers required for it.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
Flee lair as fast as possible, spouting oaths to never lairshape again, bury Relstaroth's lair beneath the ocean, etc.
(Epilogue)
Rinse and repeat entire process one week later. "I'll just take a peek, maybe do a few excoriations...."

My boyfriend and I play with our desks L shaped. I'm fighting for my life over the hopes I can get a few more blight cores. He happens to glance over while he's button mashing on STO and suddenly exclaims, "Why are you fighting a towel?"
Bewildered, I spin the camera around looking for what he is looking at. "Oh!" He then exclaims. "It's just something being a shield."
Unfortunately I am still looking around for what he is looking at instead of pressing buttons.

So... Keserith is not very good at lairshaping. By not placing flowstones and lattices properly, his library now has leaks from the smelter above....
