    Default Dye Kit Color Guide

    Welcome to the
    Dye Kit Color Guide

    Blood not the color you thought it was?
    Black not Black?
    Lava not quite the awesome color you thought it was?
    What the heck is the difference between Blue and Steel blue anyways?

    Well, now here's a guide to de-mystify exactly what color your scales look like before you go out and get beaten to a bloody pulp by murk crabs and purple necroflies.

    Lt.=Light
    Dk.=Dark
    Ant.=Antique
    Guide made with much help from Knossos <3

    I kinda do!

    Because Gengel's offered to doctor it up over the next few days, so her version will be prettier ^^ You can add it to the wiki, then just upload Gengel's version later?

    Mine was a chop job done up in paint...

    Well done!

    I had been curious what the dyes were all about - especially since, as dragons, it doesn't actually change our appearance.

    Those Radiant dyes will be awesome for my silver dragon, Mithras. But I wonder, with Moonlight and Blood - is it just the sheen of the scale that changes? Or does it still have that dark blue beneath it?

    Yes moonlight and blood are both dark blue scales with color around the edges. Wierd, huh?

    I love radiant because it looks like the scales are made of ice Ice scales!

    My Jasper colored spellcraft scales are named "Scales of Rust" and my stoneworking scales are black.

    They look like stone don't they? I get creative once I know what they look like. The titles don't exactly match up with what one would think.

    the blood dye is blue and red - opener is blood colored....

    it looks better in game, cause the blue shines like the luster of fresh blood, but hopefully you get the gist of it.....

    Wow, do I get this right - I can change the color of my dragon afterwards? What about these patterns, for example red scales with green lines on it as pattern can be changed into, well, black lines?

    No. Once the character is created, the colors are set. The only appearance change that we have right now is to put on a mask which alters the appearance of the head or a costume which effects a whole body change to undead or ghost. The masks and costumes are mostly available just for the Halloween events.

    Thank you so much for posting this, especially with the new colours on it, such a pain that the kits don't show properly when you make them.
