Is there a method to create your own custom user interface?

Valornyx created the alternate UI themes and he would be the best one to answer how to go about it. However since you stated in the thread in general that you like the Emerald theme, you can take a look at the game folder \resources\interface\themes\emerald\textures to get an idea what would be involved. Basically, you would need to create your own custom versions of the borders/buttons/backgrounds/etc for the png files that are located in there. Some .def files would need to be set up and others edited so that you could load them as a theme within the game. But until then, you could back up a folder and do a one to one replacement on a chosen theme, keeping file names so that you could do your testing.
