    NVidia Gforec 8600 GT

When I buy a new computer I either transfer my old vid card or buy a new one. Those little onboard (Im assuming those are the intel) cards, really arent very good for gaming beyond solitare IMHO.

Don't think I've ever used Intel before, and don't plan to, so it wouldn't effect me.

    Would I upgrade?
N/A (laptop video can't be upgraded... and I like battery life measured in hours, thank you very much! :p)

    - main desktop: NVidia GeForce GTX 280 (Gigabyte)
    - older desktop: ATI Radeon X1650 Pro (Sapphire)
    - laptop: ATI FireGL 5000
    - netbook: Intel GMA 1350

As netbooks can't be upgraded: N/A
Would this change affect only old Intel video cards or also integrated graphical systems with onboard chipsets? These are still common on laptops, right?
I'd like to see improvements, but Istaria is an old game then it should be still playable on old systems.

Someone close to me plays with an Nvidia FX5200. Upgrading isn't an option unless it's a whole new computer. (Bleeeghh... AGP)

    Hmm, lets see here.

Desktop 1 (Brand New Desktop Machine) - nVidia (SLI Config)
    Laptop - Intel

(These ones below aren't mine persay but they're here and provide information)

    Desktop 2 - ATI
Desktop 3 - The S/O scavenged my old desktop's ATI card faster than a vulture strips flesh off something that just died.

I suppose one thing I am noticing is a lot of laptops use Intel chipsets. That also means its harder to upgrade as most laptops void their warranty if you open them.

While I wouldn't notice if you switched, you may want to consider the above.

Maybe, people who add (all) their net/notebooks and pcs, also add if they play Istaria on it and how regular?

What type of video card do you have?
PC: nVidia GeForce GTX 470 (Would definately love to see full 3D Vision support)
    Laptop: ATI mobility Radeon HD4330

If Istaria no longer supported Intel video cards for special effects, would you upgrade your video card to see the special effects?
I won't use Intel video cards, in fact i never did.
