    Default Ceiling (Grand) Hall

After recently acquiring 2 additional lairs I of course started planning for their construction and I came across something that I considered very strange…

At both the entrances I can connect a T1 or T2 Hall chamber, all tiers above are not allowed.
Also at both entrances I can connect a T6 Grand Hall chamber…

Then my peanut sized dragon brain turned in overdrive (which it is not used to I can tell you that)...
Why can I connect a T6 Grand Hall directly to the entrance, but not a T3,4,5,6 Hall chamber? Which as you all know are considerably smaller then the Grand Hall.

As for doorway connections… If you can place a Grand Hall none of the available Halls are a problem I checked.

So my and other people in CD or Dragon chat came to the conclusion that it has to be the ceiling, but what is so different about a T6 Hall and a Grand Hall?

You all have any other ideas?

The ceiling of a Grand Hall is much less round.

Every other hall though has a very round ceiling and will never fit in the first level.
I suspect it's because the lairs themselves also have a rounded ceiling. It's why you can put a T2 hall in the middle of the first level and nowhere else. T3+ stoneworkers also have this problem of having a very high ceiling.

Strangely, a vault doesn't, yet its ceiling looks just as high as a hall's.

To be honest, I'm kinda surprised this issue wasn't brought up when lairs were first brought into the game so they could be fixed before the game got so old, to fix such a thing now might break every lair in existence.
