Monsters near locations

Is there any way,when I'm traveling to a new location that I can get an idea of the level of the monsters around the said location is? I ask because there's one location that I visited where approaching from one side is hazardous as lv92 mobs roam the area,and I'd like to avoid any future encounters of this kind. I was using the 3.5 Map pack at the time,updated to 3.7 today and somehow this information was not displayed at the time.

Well, when you upgraded to 3.7, does said same route now show those 92 mobs, that might not have been included in 3.5? If not, then no not really any way to tell, except from personal experience. Map pack does try to cover all of those these, but can't possibly cover every possible location everywhere (but we try). If the lvl 92's wasn't on 3.7 either, then post the location of the area that you think there should be a marker to help future players

and make sure you don't have the Monsters tab unchecked on the left hand side panel on map.
