New Launcher Custom Backgrounds?

I like the look of the new (v3.9) launcher! I noticed in the release notes that the ability to implement custom backgrounds to it was added, but for the life of me I cannot find the relevant files to add to/alter to do so....any help please?

The files are in C:\Program Files\Istaria\lib\resources\backgrounds. How they are implemented, I don't know, haven't really checked. Just noticed where the files where put during patch.

Looking at the Istaria\lib\resources\backgrounds folder, I see background.png and 17 other .png images named 1.png, 2.png,... which leads me to believe that the launcher randomly chooses a number and displays the .png with the corresponding number in its filename. I do not care to test, but I would presume making a 740x700 pixel .png image and naming it with the next consecutive integers after 17 would work, if you are adding to and not replacing the stock ones.

It could be that the cycle on the file numbers is only 1 to 17, so you may have to replace a file with the same file name. Example: take a pick and size it 740 by 700 and name it 1.png and save to that folder, replacing the old 1.png.(should make a copy of the old file and save as 1.bac, for a backup file if you need or want to put it back in)

You can add your own custom backgrounds with your custom names. The launcher will randomly pick a background pic from the list of files
