    Default Test Feedback - Blight

We'd like to ask one or more players on Blight to test something for us and provide feedback if they could. We've pushed an update to the server code on Blight that fixes a long-standing issue where monster nodes were not respecting differences in resource quantities.

i.e. The way it was designed was that a Treant Sapling would be a regular node, a Treant a rich node, and a Massive Treant a motherlode node. For golems it was regular, boulder and named. For wisps it was weakened, regular and enriched. And so forth.

We'd like to ask if someone could try this out and confirm that it is working. Thanks!

    Seems to be working.
The elm treant sapling gave 97
    elm treant 439
    massive 870
    Thanks!

Wisps seem good, did the mith golems too, also good.
On a side note, Alan and I were wondering if we could harvest off the spiders guarding the cloth.
Killed one, and went to harvest and it said I needed to use istarian knife or ingenuity. I switched in the knife, and it made all the right noises, but nothing appeared in my inventory. Looking good!

Harvesting spiders (and scorpions) gives venoms used for potions and spells I believe.

    Hope this helps...

I tried the bronze golem, bronze boulder golem and bronze golem named (Ignot).
Didn't have time to try other resource mobs

I would assume the method between regular, rich and motherlode is how long you gather from the node before it's depleted. Yield amounts varied too much, as expected, because numbers always vary while gathering; so I did not record the qty of resources gathered.

The numbers below reflect how many 'swings' + 'fails' (failed swings were very rare, no more than 3 per mob) of my pickaxe before the node was depleted.

Note on Ignot, the named, a couple of times the corpse disappeared (so I was still harvesting when it poofed, on the named).
In other words, A couple of times I did not deplete Ignot's ore. Instead the corpse disappeared from the corpse timer expiring before I fully depleted him.

But I did a sample for average, 5 times each mob type, heres the results.

    Looks good to me!

    Bronze Golem:
    69
    108
    55
    79
    64
    Avg: 75

    Bronze Boulder Golem:
    96
    105
    82
    161
    141
    Avg: 117

    Named Bronze Golem (Ignot):
    237
    248
    220
    202
    237
    Avg: 229

There is a problem with regular radiant wisps yielding 1600-2300 essence per wisp. It might've gotten overlooked since the main thread was originally about something else. See Post #3. The non regulars (weakened and enriched) yield normal amounts.
