I have a lowbie toon, Lv 40 reaver and lv 20 scholar and im trying to start quest South March: Essence of research but im not offered the quest.
Does anyone remember/know requirements to start it?

I have no firm answer but since quest gives exp for craft and for adventure, your scholar may not be high enough level. My other thought is perhaps it is a quest limited to mage school.

Adventuer 28 and an Essence Harvesting of 200 are the requirements.
