log in screen of death

Just tried to log on to Order. My computer wound up with a blue screen. That is a first for this computer, which is souped up for gaming and never has this problem.

My last computer was a small cased Dell, which the particular model number was prone to having capacitors go bad due to all the heat in the area near the CPU. Sure enough, I found some expanded/exploded/leaking capacitors on it. But right after a game patch, I started getting blue screen of death. I swore up and down it was the last patch. After a while, it eventually spread to other programs behaving badly. Finally gave in and believed the motherboard was bad. Replaced it with the same OEM model, never any problems since.

Moral of the story, a blue screen of death after a patch, doesn't necessarily mean its the game, like I swore it was for months I even sent in a ticket because I swore it was the patch. But turns out, I mainly was only playing the game, so why it always happened while playing game. I eventually noticed it while doing other stuff (Paint Shop Pro, or whatever program).

But not likely yours is that extreme as my situation. My experience, also is BSOD shows up slowly at first, then more often over time, when your hard drive is going bad. If you start noticing BSOD while doing other things, then you might want to start backing stuff up, just in case.

Launcher getting hung up on "looking for character stats" and when I pop in nothing but clouds. Oh yea this is on order.

Just like last patch, log into Istaria with no body and white screen. Since this happened last week, I hope they can fix quickly. No body, no chats, just flying in air with all plots empty. This is on Order shard. Thank you. Slimey
