    Default Blight Delta 270

The following changes and fixes are part of Blight Delta 270. As always, please keep posts in this thread to discovered bugs. Thank you.

    • Drulkars Retribution, Primal Retribution, Primal Vengeance and Niesa's Strength no longer require a gift slot on the target.
    • Tier 1 Hoardables loot table has been fixed so that it now will drop from T1 mobs again instead of those mobs dropping Rift Loot.
    • Anyone with Niesa's Draught formula scribed now will have a chance of having the Fiery Golem Core dropping while hunting Fire Opal Golems and the Crimson Ravager Heart dropping while hunting Crimson Ravagers.
    • Removed keyword from Chain Attack ability so that they no longer overwrite one another.
    • Buffs from Rift Crystals are now removable (and therefore won't be removed by Cleanse).
    • Resilience and Rage of the Void now both last for 10 seconds.
    • Dragons now gain an ability called Acceleration.
    • Seliena will now properly use the Brilliant Rage ability.
    • Surtheim now has more health and does more damage.
    • Dung Piles now spawn a minimum (and maximum) of 5 maggots at a time.
    • Maggots are now less vulnerable to fire, slash and spirit.
    • Mera the Cleric Trainer now has an honorific and trainer tag.
    • Skulk Bloodmages now get "Shield of Blood" (a version of Blood Shield) that has a lower recycle rate than normal.
    • Town Marshall: New Nightmares quest will now accept Dire Wolf Alpha in addition to Dire Wolf.
    • Fix outline of clotheslines so they are only .5 m wide instead of 2m wide. Primitives 58804, 58888
    • Town Marshall: New Nightmares quest will now accept Dire Wolf Alpha in addition to Dire Wolf.
    • Avatar of Pain - Taskmaster is now a lesser epic boss.
    • Valor and Vigilance: Defend New Trismus quest now correctly refers to Elainor, instead of Elianor.
    • Void Crystals now have descriptions.
    • Weapon Tech Kit: Thurid's Undead Slayer may no longer be purchased from the Town Marshalls as there is a formula for crafting it.
    • Claw Strike now uses the proper "special attack" animation.
    • Epic Core prices have been fixed so that they are now a round number divisible by 10 so that they no longer require an extra Token to purchase.
    • Ceremonial Tower Shield and Ceremonial Chest Scale now have a 25% chance to proc an event which provides the augmentation "Might of Istara's Army". Might of Istara's Army is a defensive modifier which reduces damage by 75% for 5 minutes.
    • The following named mobs have been removed from spawning until such time that they can be given quests: Hehanto, Moragantris, Shikir, Nightcrawler, Rumbleknot, Na-Nuk, Huntress, Ignot, Hrantoth, and Pebbles.
    • Added Ale Shack so it is now buildable by players. (ID 57407)
    • The following Trophy Hunter quests have been added: Ravenous Bloodsnout Tails, Bloodfly Thorax, Shadow Tarantula Thorax, Desert Scorpion Leg, Greater Nix Beetle Compound Eye, Scavenger Scorpion Claw, Nahguk Beatstick
    • The following Trophies no longer drop and are marked as obsolete: Feral Bloodsnout Hooves, Shattered Ravenous Bloodsnout Tusk, Shadow Tarantula Breeder Thorax, Shadow Tarantula Hatchling Thorax, Brachina Beetle Gland Mandible, Blight Crab Gland, Cave Crawler Hatchling Thorax, Cave Crawler Soldier Thorax, Murk Crab Claw, Forest Crawler Thoraxes, Biting Fly, Bhal'kuk Chieftain's String of Beads, Bhal'kuk Chieftain Nose-ring, Bhal'kuk Gatherer Earring, Bhal'kuk Warrior Beatstick, Blood Skulk Bloodmage Scroll, Blood Skulk Soothsayer Staff, Blood Skulk Spear Fisher Spearhead, Gloomwolf Claw, Sand Crab Gland
    • Quest items have had a keyword added to them so that should someone try to delete them, they are provided with a warning message. Note they can still be deleted, this change does not prevent them from being deleted if you accept that message.
    • Changed the following Tech Kits so they are no longer scribable: Dragon Scale Tech Kit: Banishment, Dragon Scale Tech Kit: Drulkar's Retribution, Dragon Scale Tech Kit: Greater Renown, Dragon Scale Tech Kit: Preeminent Acclaim, Dragon Scale Tech Kit: Primal Retribution
    • Modified Avatar of Pain's spawn regions and Gruk the Frigid's spawn regions so that they are now seperate. Gruk's spawn region has also been moved slightly so that it is fully within the Staging Grounds.
    • Added new "who" region, Tower of Atta-nuk, to the area around 282/237.
    • All Town Marshalls (except Steward Pratt, who is a Steward) are now in the "Town Marshall" school and have had their level adjusted so that they're the same level as the quests they give starts at. (Yes, this is so that the wiki information isn't confusing to the developer!)
    • Drain Bolt spells now require you to have completed the quest where they were obtained before they can be used.
    • Drain Bolt spells may now be teched.
    • The formula for making Drain Bolt spells (all levels) is available from Khemarius through a quest for any who have completed all the previous quests for Drain Bolt.
    • Nature's Bastion quests have been updated slightly and are once again available from Llaul in Nature's Tower. There are 4 quests broken up by level that are available daily for players starting at level 61.

The following structures now exist and may be buildable. Note these are presented by tier and sorted by type. The Thunder Underground part of the Breath of Acid quest line uses Brachina Beetle Gland Membranes so that would break the quest unless the quest is changed.

The wrong trophy was listed in the original patch notes. Fixed now.

The one in bold are used in Unsung Heroes Quest: Bigger Than They Are.
    Which says

    ◾Loot 3 Brachina Beetle Gland
    ◾Loot 3 Murk Crab Claws
    ◾Loot 3 Stygian Scorpion Claws

This might break Unsung Heroes Quest but can be fixed if you make the trophy a quest only trophy like other quests in the Unsung Heroes Quest Line.

The Unsung Heroes Quest asks for Murk Crab Glands, not Claws. (Just as a note, items can not be listed as Obsolete if they are used in a quest somewhere, so none of the trophies listed above are actually used anywhere.)

Just a concern about the bolder item in the Player Shops quote above: should the Dragon T4 shops have 300,000 bulk instead of the listed 600,000? I see a trend where they should be similar to the biped shops, and as it is listed the T4 and T5 dragon shops have the same stacks/bulk listed.

T4 do indeed have 4 stacks and 30000 bulk. The patch notes have been updated.

I found a lesser anchor that's shouldn't be there and its at a weird level rating of Lv 126 that is East of Imperial Outpost at the intersection with the road that leads to spiritual swamp. Also seems Avatar of Pain is in no where at sight. This anchor may have supposed to been the avatar of pain. It's located at coordinates [23740, 24226]

Scratch that I found another lesser anchor right by to the west and south the usual location !!!!!!! This one is at rating of Lv 129 and at coordinates [27407, 24190].

This is a major bug. There should be only one lesser anchor out of the spawns not two and I'm betting the rating Lv126 is supposed to be the avatar of pain possible. Will check to see if I find him.

    The level 126 one vanished......

Lesser Anchors spawn in a number of places and have a level range of 120 to 130 that they can possibly spawn in. They don't have a static spawn location where they're just spawn in "on spot".

I have searched everywhere the Avatar of Pain has seemed to have disappeared.

I found him, though please note that his spawn did change. So if you're only looking for him in one location where he might have "once been", it is possible he isn't there any longer.

Shadow Wisp are not spawning and the Corrupted Iron Guard Near Sigrun has vanished.

This was accidentally added to these patch notes. The Shadow Wisps weren't fully set up on purpose for this delta.

It appears to be working correctly, but it is difficult to tell, I admit:
Seliena hit you for 1919 slash damage.

After she dishes out this 3 piece chicken dinner on you, you'll see a debuff called Crippled X in your player window, thats how you can really tell when she performs the ability.

She doesn't say specifically when she casts Brilliant Rage, but Delta 271, she will:
Seliena hit you with Brilliant Rage for 1459 slash damage.

Can not click on the dragon machine rooms (player built) to access storage.
Is there a specific place to click on?
    Dragon owned lair.
It was an oversight that Dragon Chambers were not player selectable previously. They'll be updated for the next delta so that they can be selected and the storage structure can then be accessed.

Aughundell west ore refinery(tier 3) rebuilt but plot permission info is missing on completion so machines can't be activated. Storage is there. Wisp island Essence Circle= no problems. New Trismus Clothworking is destroyed but structure details are blank,no plot info and no construction details.

Added Ale Shack so it is now buildable by players. (ID 57407)
I can't get another plot, so I went to several settlements and looked on the Community plot listings for what buildings would go on a plot. I tried some of the largest plots available, and I can't see the ale shack listed anyplace for player buildable structures.

Is it a community project like the crafting machines, and if it is where is it?

Here's the deal with the Ale Shack. It is just a regular building that should show up when you choose a building to add to your plot.

However, it was setup incorrectly. We thought it was updated correctly for Delta 271. But realized some of the assets didn't get copied to the patch. There is one more setting that will prevent this from being built on Delta 272, but it's fixed for sure now on Delta 273. Currently on Blight (272), this will show a generic preview of a weather vane, but still give an error (Limit number = 0) when you actually try to build it.

But this is what it really looks like. Just giving a screenshot in case you're just dying of curiosity

Thank you very much Cegaiel! That looks so awesome. I want that on my plot for sure next to some festival tents.

Do you know what tier materials is intended for it? Does it give the tavern aura like the festival tents?

It does not have an aura, storage or anything, it is for decorative purposes only.

And I apologize for all the bugs with it. Thought I'd set it up correctly, but obviously I did not.

I know its a no no to post in an old Blight Delta thread that has long passed, but since I had already posted a screenshot of the preview window, of the ale shack in this thread, I've replaced the image (scroll down to post #15) with the actual built item to show how cool this little shack really is. It has two effects on it.

    • First (you can't tell in this screenshot), but the lighting fixture hanging from the ceiling flickers.
    • Second, look very closely at the barrel tap on the right side. You should notice it drips a green liquid. This screenshot doesn't show it falling all the way to the floor, but it does.

If you want to see one in person, then there is an ale shack on Blight Server in Crystal (nearest Pad: Shepherd's Mountain: Jeanne) - 4th plot SE from pad. It's the only structure on this plot, can't miss it. 230/164

If for some reason the image is showing the old small preview, its likely cached in your browser from a previous visit to this page. Try hitting Refresh. If that fails, try viewing here.
