Blight Crab Shell

It looks like a comp. But its not used in any T6 dye kits. Whats its use?

I do not know what the blight crab shells are used for. I know the blight carapace is used in the processing formula, but I do not know what that product is used for. I do know I'm extremely frustrated at getting killed by the crabs more often than I can kill them, even though I'm rated 30 levels above them. Not worth it for me to find out what the formula does.

Blight Crabs are Overpowered.

Not exactly overpowered...

Extremely difficult if your damage isn't ethereal, yes. Overpowered? Not when they have an Achilles' heel that anyone using spirit spells can take advantage of.

If you have a biped with any decent skill in spirit, then you just blow the crabs out of the water by using the spells that are ethereal... especially when they use hardened shell (decreases ethereal armor).

Otherwise, you just need to be aware that their social aggro range is huge so if you see more than one on your screen, pulling is probably not a good idea, and be aware that their blight blast hurts. Everything. Including themselves. Going in with lots of blight ward/resist definitely helps as well.
