Hello.

Recently I came back to Istaria and immediately noticed something odd: most of the time, the damage from my spells doesn't show up on the combat log and it really throws me off because it used to show everything. Apparently I'm not the only one with this problem so I can safely assume it's a bug.

Please give an example of a spell that doesn't show in combat log.

There are two different formats the logs can display. If you click the Blue Dot (bottom left) and choose Options, then click on Options tab, there is a checkbox "Simple Combat Feedback". Can you try with it checked and unchecked and see if it still does not show damage?

Pretty much all damaging spells: (improved) theft of life, all the bolts, (improved) flame wave, burning hands, etc. However, extra damage such as Romp or bludgeoning crystals always shows up, which is weird...

I tried using simple combat feedback, but it didn't make a difference. Note that this doesn't happen all the time. Like, 10% of the times I use a spell, it shows like it should on the combat log. Otherwise the only way I can determine my spell hit the monster or not is by looking at its health bar.

Also, when the damage doesn't show on the combat log, it causes the floating damage numbers not to show either.
