Shaloths loot: Epic Caster Claw

This is a beginning idea,this is something I want to start with and nothing is final in this suggestion.

caster claw (youre welcome to suggest names)
dam 75-101 (this damage doesn't include spells does it?)
delay 27
120 primal
100 power

25 dps +100 attack skill (25 dps because currect one and only tech kit deadly V increases spells damage by 15 dps)

10% chance:
cooldowns and delays reduced by 5%
duration 30 sec
OR
10% chance
Next ranged spell does 150% of normal damage
removed after 1 use

5% chance lesser spirit shield (but spell version) maybe ethereal shield? (something suitable since it comes from shaloth)
Incomming spells only
0 damage removed after 2 uses
duration 30 sec

Could call it like Myloc Claw, that's how they call Demon Claw is cause Son of Gigaroth is a demon, Blood Talon cause Valkor is made of Blood.

How about 15% chance the outgoing spell damage is converted to ethereal damage, for 10 seconds? But thinking about it, that would be basically the same effect as demon claw (which works on all incoming damage by removing armor, not just spells).

You want it to have all three effects right? It would need to have all three to really make it worthwhile.
For the second effect use the increased damage:
10% chance
Next ranged spell does 200% of normal damage
removed after 1 use

But I would set it at 200% damage. Double damage, 10% of the time, basically just equals +10% damage (over time). But since it would be the occasional increase, would be cool when it lands on a big damaging spell.

You are correct that the damage range 75-101 would not affect spells, it only affects melee (same is true for staves, the damage range stated has no effect on spell damage).

The spirit shield (3rd effect), just make it work the same as the hierophants' spirit shield, maybe not as strong, depending on its' stats.

For names I like something simple. "Ethereal Talon" "Shaloth's Will" something like that.
