Where has the travel gate in New Trismus gone?

Been looking around for a while and can't seem to find any mention of this, wiki isn't updated etc.
Recently came back to the game and I've entered New Trismus and...apparently I'm trapped here?
If memory serves, near the portal pad where you come in there used to be a big glowy gate?
I've run around a lot and been searching internet for 15 minutes and I can't seem to find the thing.
Is this tied to the new FTP model perhaps, can't leave the island until I sub?
Or am I just missing it? I see the rest of the town has been smashed to bits as well ^^

Very strange. I've just relogged and its materialised into existence. Very strange.

Poofing gates happen occasionally. It's not just one gate, either; it's usually that you see every gate in the game or none of the gates in the game. It's irritating but I haven't had it happen to me for a very long time so I assumed it was fixed.

A relog's always the cure, thankfully
