That still holds true and is very unlikely to change. "Unfriendly players" refers to those who are your enemy in PvP matches or GMs who use a command to attack players. (Example - the raid on Chaos a few days ago with Fenrir the Ravager)
Judging by the patch note, previously, when you selected an "enemy" player, the icon next to the name was still a player symbol instead of the monster skull for example.

Valkors Blood Talon is a question mark for the inventory icon. Version shows 392.38
Along with the other 'blood' weapons.
Also you can no longer right click on an NPC and use the greet option, it says "your having a hard time talking to (NPC number)".
Have to make a hot key now to talk to NPC's.

The issue with greeting NPCs I passed along to the technical team yesterday, so hopefully that should be resolved in the next Blight client updates.
As for the blood weapons, that was mentioned not too long ago in this thread.

- slider bar allows click of the arrow to move the amount used by 1 unit (calculates how much you could contribute)
- if tool needed is not equipped, UI shows red lettering for the tool and disables OK button

- if resources are added to inventory, auto-calcs new max resources, etc.
- Clicking Use Novians recalcs totals / adjusts slider to new possibility
- When trying to delete a structure, sometimes the selected structure will shift after clicking the Okay button
- After planning a structure and then clicking the “move” controls, the wrong structure is moved (until you select in the structure in the planned list)
- Disable camera look when plot editing controls are pressed (alt or ctrl)
- If clicking on plot structure, require ctrl and alt keys to rotate / move structure ( so that no confusion with look camera / unintended movement)
