    Default Water collection source on plot

    Currently making a confectioner plot and have an adjoining plot designed with storage and a fountain in the centre. Just thought 'wouldn't it be great if u could gather water from a water feature on your plot instead of having to go to the well'?

    Just wondering if its possible to design coding to make the game think you're in the location of the well when gathering water from the feature on your plot?

    Features would include fountains and ponds. (Not the frozen pond).

    I know you can store water in storage structures, but that's a waste of good resource space.

    or heck, just a buildable well, any plot can do with a nice little well!

    Being able to build a working well on plot sounds good to me.

    I get the feeling putting wells directly on plots might be tricky. Since you'd have to fill the storage thing for water from the well, why not just make a cistern that can be put on the plot and you can fill that with water. Does not have to be a huge model either.

    You can store water in a silo, no need for a extra building. Some years ago all settlements got a sand pile and well added.

    It has been stated several times in the past that no buildable resource nodes could be added to plots, and a well is some kind of a resource node I believe.

    I also think silos are good enough for us. I would like to add the roleplay component, too. Having just one well in a small village/settlement makes the environment 'feel more realistic' to me.

    With current technology it isn't possible to have a well on a plot as it is a resource node and has to be present when the server starts up.

    Well I guess what I meant was, Pure Water, Blessed Water, and the resource Water(all the different types of water you can collect). Sorry for the confusion hehe!

    Could we get a buildable silo with the image of a well instead of a tower?

    Could a water resource be implemented as follows?

    A storage building like a silo, but every reset or load it resets is self as being full.

    Of course it should be shaped as a well or fountain.
