Two of the most wonderful jewels in Istaria
are covered with dust:

New Vassarak
and
Tazoon

There should be reasons to visit and explore this places.

Why not send new players to explore New Vassarak (make it with trigger points- so no npcs have to be installed)
and reward them with teched gear (like the blighted gear)-
or a heal/combat bot (which gets obsolete at level X -lvl.40 e.g.) .
Might be a nice variety to the ruins of Trismus.

Concerning Tazoon- maybe the same: Exploring- trigger points-reward for lower level
or riddles and quests (enough npcs are available), that lead you all over Istaria to protect Tazoon from WA spys/invasion..--for higher level.

What do you think? More/better ideas?

Pretty sure Tazoon is being addressed in the T3 revamp later this year. NV, though, I wouldn't mind giving a reason to explore, at least.... don't really have any ideas, however.

Tazoon wil be addressed in the Tier 3 revamp, as well as parts of the Barasavian Desert, correct. As for New Vassarak, I can't say exactly for sure but I have heard of some plans to make it more relevant to the community, where that is on the pipeline though, I'm not sure.

How do you even get to New Vassarak? I don't recall seeing it on any portals. Are the other starting islands still around? New Brommel? New Korrelia (sp?)

Yes, you can get to them by going to Genevia, and then finding the portal to Genevia Towns, it will also list a number of places as "Resort:", this is where you'll find the old training islands.

New Brommel is currently being used for the Summer and Winter Festivals, whilst New Koraelia is used for Spring and Fall.

all are still there- Brommel and Korelia are used for seasonal events. Worth to go there and play the quests. NIce rewards!!
Go to Genevia hub- and find the porter to this islands .
