Default A Skill looking for a home....

The Enchanting Biped Craft School encompasses the Essence Structuring Skill for Construction and the Enchanting Skill for manipulating processed materials to different forms.

With the change to the Primary Skill System for the Enchanting Biped Building school's Essence Structuring Skill, the Enchanting Skill has become an "orphan". The Enchanting skill does gain 10 per level as the School's Essence Structuring Skill is leveled in the process of making and applying Essence Construction pieces.

Enchanting Skill has been added to the Alchemy Biped Craft School and gains 8 per level as the Alchemy Skill is leveled. However the Alchemy school is not a Primary Skill System School but at this time Enchanting Skill behaves as if the Alchemy School is a Primary Skill System School and no exp is awarded for Enchanting work done while Alchemy is the current Craft School.

In fact, Enchanting skill receives no exp for Enchanting work done while in any of the 19 Biped Craft Schools.

By contrast, Confectioner is a primary skill based school and gains no exp for preparing skill used while in the Confectioner School. The player can get the needed preparing skill exp by switching schools to Gatherer. There is no comparable option for Enchanter skill work to gain exp.

Can the non-Primary Skill Based Alchemy School become a "parent" for the "orphaned" Enchanting Skill? If not, perhaps Enchanting could become the 20th Biped Construction School?
