    Default aplying teched scale doesn't increase current skill whne making scales.

    I have a tail scale of +16 on smelting and +16 on scale craft, how ever when making scales the skill stay's ad 1050

    i noticed that be cause the previous level the skill was also 1050.

    Are you perhaps wearing a mithril tool claw, or any tool claw that isn't adamantium?

    yes i was wearing a mithrill tool and that was the reason.

    I hadn't thought that that would be the case ( however the number should have given me a indication), as I 'm not half way the mithril ladder.

    A good indicator is that your skills should show RED numbers when held back due to an item/debuff or some other reason. signaling that it is being forced to a lower setting. When otherwise it shows green / white numbers
