I posted a few questions in the other thread. Just got the email and I'm still curious about the guild plot auctions and whether anyone will be displaced if currently owning a guild key plot if a request to bid on the guild plot is received.

Next question.
Why would we wait to release sub plots from condemned status until after the guild plot auctions are over with? If the keyplot is owned, they won't be auctioned anyway.. and if they keyplot is condemned, nobody can buy the subplots can they? Just a thought.

Guild plots are being handled COMPLETELY separate from auctions, and not until after auctions when we know that all guild communities up for awarding have been set. We aren't doing anything with guild communities right now other than awarding key plots, in other words.

My questions from the other thread:
Is there a time limit to retract a bid? I.E. if I know nobody else has bid on the same property I can pull out everything but the bare minimum price just before the auction ends by design? I guess that ties in with my next question. If We click the community surveyor, we can see which plots/lairs have bids and how many by checking the "c" column. If we're the only bid on a plot/lair why would we want to keep our high bid if there's no competition? That's why I'm asking about the bid retraction. I suppose the danger would be that withdrawing at the last second may leave you open to a sniper. (do we have bid-sniper for plots? haha) I have a few bids for lairs that are 1c.. so I'm going to go ahead and guess they weren't reset when they were condemned from the last price they were sold for. Granted, several people already have bids on those type of lairs/plots so it might just even out anyway.

Will you be doing the automated auction result announcing in the Auction channel on each shard?

This just in...
You will absolutely need to bid the minimum Imperial price on plots for your bid to count. That price is not displaying correctly on all plots right now. We will apply a hot fix in the morning that fixes this. (We're all a bit too fried at this point to be going playing with code )If you under bid, your bid will not allow you to win the plot at the end of auctions next week when the time comes. |

Thanks Lady V. I'm sure your hair will grow back where you've yanked it out, hehe.

What is being looked at (important for the people with more then one sub) with bids on a plot/lair:
- if the character bidding has enough money for the plot/lair on him when a bid is technically won or -if the total account holds enough money for a plot or lair when it is technically won |

You can only bid what the character has in his/her/it pockets when you bid on a plot/lair. Eg. Your char with that you go bidding has 5g, and the other chars have 10g in sum. You can only bid the 5g because that is the money that the bidding char has in their pockets. So you might haul the money on one char before bidding.

I hope, Vahrokh gets a pm or something like that, that answers his questions about his issue.
I know, there is still much to do, but his thread was locked, and I did not see, that he got an satisfying solution/answer for his probs.

After the auctions end, will the unsold plots be put up for sale with their buildings intact (novian rush II); or will they be put up with the lots cleared?

All plots that where going up for auction where before changed to "buy and raze" so there will be nothing to raze after the auction. Those that where not razed where plots/lairs that got a owner with a active sub, and so owned.
