and a lot of them here. Nagafen is fine, last time I spoke to him, he is extremely busy, but will be posting as soon as he can.

lol.. yeah... I didn't quite understand, why that topic got locked..

But I think Nagafen should have Moderator Rights himself and should be able to unlock a topic..

One interesting information is missing: When did Peaches spoke to him the last time?

Okay, so the reason Nagafen has not answered recently is because he is so busy.

Then lets hope that what he currently is involved in goes swiftly and well, so that he'll find the time to communicate again.

Hey everyone. I'm sorry I haven't posted in so long. I've been extremely tied up for the past week, or so. You'll have a better idea of what we've been working on very soon. I asked Peaches to lock my last thread because it had been pretty effectively derailed and I knew I wouldn't have enough time to get it back on track.

Again, I apologize for dropping off of the radar for so long. I don't plan on making a habit of it.

Soon is something we have heard many times over the years, soon relative to the life of a mayfly or the time it takes the earth to circle the sun ?

soon in HZ terms means noghing less than 6 months, sometimes even longer than 12...
Didn't you know that?

Ah, and "high priority tasks" were all to be finished "soon".

This I like to hear.

It's going to be very interesting to see what EI's first patch is going to bring the game. I'm afraid to get exited though.

If it's a couple minutes faster than the previous I'd be happy.

Consider that your players have been waiting months. As 'soon' comes and goes, they give up and stop waiting. Maybe it's not a bad idea to suck it up and spill whats going on -- whats planned, who is working on it, and when they are working on it. Get some visible milestones in there. (like "Dark Enigmaa is unborking the account management site this week and next. It should be fixed by then, or we'll explain whats going on." and "Rask bought a new development cluster it should be up and running by Dec! Photos!")

Bottom line is, vague promises with vague timeframes do not promote confidence. EI needs to build confidence if it is going to grow. Nevermind the surprises right now. The only surprise that matters is that EI proves they have their act together -- and that is one surprise that is better off spoiled.

Why does crap have to be so secretive. Why cant you just say, were looking at adding this, tis still in the planning stages, but its looking like its feasable to do. Dang... you build up all this supposed suspense and then the announcements usually are a such a load of BS... Just spill the beans on the crap already
