Resource locations.

I've been thinking on this for a while and decided I would like to make a cheat sheat to go with the others I have on the locations of resouces. I hope this will be helpful to new and vetran players, especialy those who when they reach new tiers and ask where to find them get an answer basicaly implying that by their level (regaurdless of how low lvl that may actualy be.) they should instantly know where everything is in the game, nore does the map have a find next feature, which means some areas arent always known about that are/could be really good. *coughs* erm... before I decend into a rant..

Here's what I know of so far.
When I get a sizable amount of information I'll set up a pdf or something else for folks to print out.
As I play only a dragon Im not very clear on where some of the resources that are bi-ped spacific are.
When you can try to be spacific with locations by giving either the loc if you have it or the nearest portal.

I've been told that the Tier 6 clay is Porcelain, but I'm not sure if there's a use for it.

adobe is on the drowned isle, not on nt - at least as far as i know, there are no such deposits on nt....

iron, nickel, gold, and tier 2 gems (i believe - along with some azulyte deposits) can be found with a handy mws in summit, se of mahagra

cobalt, nickel, and tier 3 gems can be found in the kirasanct tundra between char and the middling lands/shelter pass (has both a metal and a gem ws within handy reach)

iron, nickel, plat, and mith can be found in aug mines (not exactly handy, but there is both a mws and a gws in the mines), and more mith/plat can be found in mith's anvil

obsidian and a very nice draggy/biped useable ws can be found in char/jirakis

this is my experience anyway. i am prolly forgetting stuff (i know there are resources on genevia as well, but can't remember offhand what and where), but these are the places that helped me become uber (soon to be x2!!!)

sandstone and copper/tin (to make bronze) can be found at NUTHALA (a very short run from Parsinia, not Kion). There's a sandstone quarry, and further up a copper/tin mine. They DO have sandstone and bronze golems around.

There are minnows in the stream at Genevia. (are you keeping track of confectioner resources?)

There are tier 1 and 2 resources everywhere also.

Pleasant Canyon has unguarded Sandstone and Cedar, as you exit the canyon east, there are large elm groves and kenaf (tier 2) with 2 game provided machines (all unguarded). Follow the road south toward South March, you will find the Flax.

There is Kenaf north of the teleport ring at heather (tier 2)

There are gold and nickel deposits near Harton valley, platinum and cobalt deposits near Last Stand (along with Titan crystals 'tier 5')

I am missing a lot of places that are "not convenient" but if you want a field to yourself and not a lot of foot traffic, they exist.

I miss the barks in your list Amon? (Cedar-, Elm- etc bark for hide-tannins). But nice to have such a list

Some resources that come to mind:
Am missing a lot on Trandalar, lots of different resources there (mainly tier 3, some tier 2 and 4). Also lots of small-scale resource-fields on Scorpion Isle are missing (almost all unguarded).
Central Valley and Heart also have all the gems tier 1 and 2 (tier 1 unguarded, no game-workshop; tier 2 guarded and gws)
Lapis Lazuli gems and golems just near the obervatorium.
A patch of iron near South March.
Etc.
(As Justa says: a lot of quiet fields without much or any infrastructure, unless made by players, are missing. But then, that might be fine to have them missing: keeps some surprise in, and móst players won't choose for those places of course :P )

is there an easy way to convert my map markers to something useful here? ask in game and if i open my map i can probably tell you at least 80% of the time where to find whatever anyone asks for. that goes for nasties as well as resources... i've marked a ton of things.

i think i saw flax near the sugarcane on genevia when i was there a couple of days ago. i personally usually go to kion for flax, it suits me. :-)
