Live Update - Client 406.21 Istaria Community Manager February 11, 2024
	Fixes: Fixed an issue where Gathering Delay was showing an incorrectly small % reduction on the character window Statistics page. Fixed an issue where an out-of-date news file could cause the client to crash. Fixed an issue where the top player in a chat room could not be selected or promoted to chat admin. Fixed an issue where the news may not be formatted correctly in the news window. Fixed an issue where very large stacks of items could have issues displaying the total coin value. Fixed issues with being unable to resize the chat window.

	Greetings Istarians! The live shards are online and Back to the Battlefield is now available! A completely revamped combat experience awaits you and more fixes than a Dragon can toss a Gnome at! If you have trouble patching, we also have an upgrade setup package that will resolve the issue. We're very excited about this update and are looking forward to all the upcoming feedback. As with any major content update, you may need to update your equipment and builds - combat has changed significantly. 	Blight only: Master Time Machine now sells Animal Hide and Tannins of all tiers. Monk and Disciple schools now gain Flow Like Water 2 and 3 which boost evasion by higher amounts. Improved, Superior and Exceptional Evasion now properly boost evasion (not dodge). Read More...

	In quest “The Ruined Homestead (Part 2)”, Allanti’s Skeleton Key can now only be used when required by the quest to prevent it from being wasted. Primal Burst now shares a recycle timer with copies of itself. Imperial Writs now properly consume themselves on use. Corrected coloration on all buckets to properly have a wooden base. Changed the Radiant movement crystals to use the color of other Radiant tool crystals instead of Shining  tool crystals. Read More...

	Features: UIPersonal.def will now have two backup files saved when saving - these will make it easier to recover an old interface file if unexpected or unwanted changes occur to it: UIPersonal.bak will be your previous UIPersonal.def before the most recent save. UIPersonal.prevbak will be the previous backup file. Fixes: Fixed issue where healthbars could become stuck and stop updating in combat. Fixed issue where visual combat could lag behind what’s actually happening (for example the boss appears to be alive and fighting, but the game is saying in chat that the target is dead), which would prevent looting for example. 	Combat Overhaul Skills and attributes now scale melee and ranged attacks using the same system as spells. Multipliers still affect these attacks in the same manner as before, just like spells. Other Alyssa’s touch now increases magical alacrity by 10x its previous value. Galderos’ Flurry now has an updated description and increases martial alacrity by 10x its previous value. Brobbet’s Burst now has an updated description and increases gathering alacrity by more than its previous value. 	Delay Changes As part of the ongoing combat overhaul, delay associated with ability or spell use has been overhauled. The old style of % modifiers to delay has been replaced with three attributes that can be boosted that contribute individually to generate a calculated reduction in delay. Those new attributes are: Martial Alacrity, Magical Alacrity and Gathering Alacrity. Read More...

	Features: The Guild MOTD / URL will now appear in the chat window on game startup. It’s now possible to turn off the  "You hear distant sounds bearing the familiar cadence of speech" message when nearby Gifted talk but are too far away to hear. The add/remove techs arrow buttons are now disabled for Blighted formulas as these products can never have techniques applied to them. Fixes: Fixed an issue where invisible, broken clickable links can be present in quest dialogue. Fixed an issue where the “Remote pet size” slider would not properly update the size of other player’s pets when changed. Fixed issue causing the Target window to not be interactable.
