Higher RATING Equipment

Last day, somebody in marketplace (chaos) had an idea about rating based equipments. I worked out this idea and came on special Prestige school items..
for example:

Maul of the Battlemage
req: (Btlm),rating (120)
bonus:
All (or some) abilities from his base schools mastered.

When a battlemage reaches rating 120 it can wear this maul
to master multicast for instance.
There should be a timeout on the equip/unequip of the item.

This way, presige classes are more prestige and its fun to collect your class based items.

Yeah, great idea.

After all, everybody knows what we really need to do in HZ is to encourage more multiclassing.

The point was... so encourage it, but not to much... When you're battlemage you should not take the spiritist,berserker, monk etc.. school... When you have to be battlemage to wear a good (rare) battlemage maul you found I think people stick to their own classes more.

ok the rating based is not important

it would be great if this class unique items would be ingame, make your active class more unique and stronger

but please make this items with formulars and random loot, no new set/epic... items

A nice idea. Here is another view:

Items to encourage minimal multiclassing, to stay focused to your "core" class - thus rating "caps" as in the Battlemage above - Btlm 100/rating 120 (130 cap) where above that "cap" could not use the item.

As for the basic idea, you certainly don't want to "unbalance" the PvE nature of Hz where the monsters don't their own equivalent.

And just how does one wear a maul?

Do you have something equivalent for craft rating in mind? Tier 6 or 7 cargo armors or tools?
