Okay, so here's an update:
I found the logic bug that allows players to activate other players' structures.
I'd like to take a little while longer to investigate the ability to deactivate structures. Most of the pieces to make it work are there -- they just don't do the right thing.

Another update: the simulation fix for structure activation should be going out soon (on the order of days, I think). The deactivation part is still in the works.
At least no new structures will get activated by trolls. :p

That will do much to make lair crafters feel better about using machines as decorations. Thank you for the update.
