Community Building Tracker
Hi guys,
I wrote a web app to help us keep track (and share) information of what buildings have been built on each shard.
You can also mark which machines are bugged to help keep track of those too.
If you know of any machines that I've missed, please feel free to check the Built checkbox. If its bugged, check both the Built and Bugged box (optionally you can add notes).
There's no link to this page from the main website, yet, but will try to see if I can find a spot soon.

Also, Blight is now updated with client 387.8 which will allow the activation of machines that are currently not activated. So most of the entries in yellow (bugged) can now be made green (not bugged). So if you activate any machines, don't forget to uncheck the "bugged" box, leaving only the "built" box ;) You could patch to blight, disable patching, then log into the live shards and able to activate machines now, if you want.

Went around earlier activating some buildings on Order and editing the tracker accordingly, about to head out to Isle of Wisps and Acul to check if they've been activated yet.

Thanks, Meepsa. I've visited every building on Blight. Blight server is 100% up to date. Wow, blight is cranking it out! Thanks to all for contributing and testing those buildings.

All of the current building bugs have been sorted out and requires another delta. All of the notes on page have been updated. As of now, even if something is still marked as bugged, the notes will reflect it has been addressed. We'll deal with any future ones (hopefully there will be none) as they come along. The ones currently marked bugged, we'll uncheck that after Delta 274 when the issues are confirmed to be fixed.
There's a new filter "Has Notes" that will only show entries that have a note attached. I've cleared out any notes, not relevant to a bug issue or fix.

I finished the Saritova gem cutting shack at 27480,16024 on Chaos.
Right clicking on the structure brings up the Structure Details box but nothing happens when I try to activate the machines. This box lists the structure permissions as OPEN, but when I try to access the storage I get the Error Message "Plot Information is missing. Please report this issue along with your location. Relogging as suggested didn't change anything.
I'm updating the Community Building Tracker.

the window won't update when you click activate, but the machines should be there, only way to really check is re-open the window or check inside the structure. I also get that storage error everytime I try to open the structure either for the first time or when I'm too far away.
Sorry if you knew all of this already, just making sure it's known that there's a bit of oddness when it comes to the structures.

I think what happens is the timer counts invisibly for activating the structure, only it takes longer than on privately owned plots. We see it just sitting there without the machines, unable to confirm if we did the right thing to activate them or not (until later when the machines appear).

I've been back to the Gem Cutting Shack. I forgot to mention yesterday that part of the structure is floating off the ground. Nothing has changed. There are no machines in, above or below it. 24 hours should have been enough for a slow timer. The machines really are not there. I tried to activate again and got the same error message.

I went to check out to build the Gem cutting bench near Morathaven (23908/27657) to see what was needed, first thing I noticed was a typo on the Obsidian blocks needed for the build. It has 750 (units) of blocks and it should be 75 (units), same as the Keys.

The Saritova gem shack building and a few others that haven't been built yet, are being reviewed.
I checked the two buildings that were awaiting Delta 274 ( http://istariareference.com/comm.asp?id=29377&id=26451)
Aughundell West refinery seems to already be activated on Chaos. Can someone on Order verify the machine is or can be activated?
Gem Miner's gem shack shows items in the construction window now and should now be able to be built on Chaos/Order.

I also want to confirm something for everyone. The Abandoned Shore Logging Camp 282/278 (outside Morning Light near the maple trees) can actually be built now! Older players might remember this building has existed for a couple years, at least and was bugged. It could never be built and activated. It's confirmed on Blight this one actually works!

Saritova buildings are now fixed and moved closer to the ground, delta 275.
Tech has also checked on a small list of 7 buildings (new community buildings) that might've had a potential of being bugged (region boundaries). Those have been checked. We're assuming buildings that aren't new (not existed before), should not have any region boundaries issues, when they're built later; since they've already existed. Previous issues of some not being associated to a community should have been fixed with todays maintenance.
Hopefully all past (and potential future) bugs are squashed now, the final ones will take delta 275 to fix.
Thanks for everyone who is re-building up the community structures, on all shards. I'm actually surprised to the rapid development :)

T4 Gemcutting Shacks (Kirasanct and Morathaven) now only requires 75 Obsdian Blocks, instead of 750. Delta 275.

Added a new second filter that can further limit results based on Shard. I found it was annoying if I only wanted to see certain things on a specific shard. Now you can.
Example. If you click on the "Built" link in the Filter/Search options it would show any building on any shard that was checked with Built.
Now you have a choice to also click on a Shard name (the images with the fancy font are now links) to limit the results even more.
So after clicking "Built", you can now click on the Chaos, Order or Blight image and it would only show buildings that are marked built only for that shard. This will work for any of the Filter/Search options. You can limit those results based on shard, too.
Since we can limit the result by shard now, I thought it was appropriate to also add a new Filter/Search called "Not Built".

Yeah, go ahead and put me in the slow group.
I finished the Saritova Ore Refinery (27802,16050) right next to the bugged gemcutting shack mentioned above. The ore refinery is bugged in the same manner. You can't activate the machines. The only difference I can see is the first says Gemcutting Shack (tier 5) and <missing> in the target window when you click on it. The second says <missing> and <missing>.

Seems all 3 of the Saritova machines weren't associated with a community. Tech fixed them all up, when they fixed that Gemcutting Shack. Should all be good on Delta 275. I'd hold off on the logging camp (Saritova W) next to it, but I don't believe there were any issues with the other Saritova Logging Camp down the road 281/161.
Edit: I just marked the others as bugged, sorry I didn't think about that earlier.

technicly, yes it's the correct thread, but not really applicable here.
NT will not be rebuild ever as it stands now (or well, as far as we know).
This thread is more for the broken shops/machines that now scatter the land ^^

Oh that's neat. I didn't even realize the walls could be built by players. But for now, NT buildings aren't going to be rebuildable. That might change in future. This thread is for the Imperial/Empire community buildings, throughout the world (Ore Refinery, Stoneworking Shelter, Essence Circle, etc) that recently got tore down and needs rebuilt again (to take advantage of the new Storage on said buildings). We're just keeping track of what shard has rebuilt what building and to report any bugs :)
But I'm confident, that at some point in the future, when the Imperial army has quelled back the Withered Aegis, they will certainly want to rebuild this historical town.

These two names were backwards:
Central Valley Stoneworking (T2) *
Abandoned Isle Stoneworking (T2)
Someone on Chaos pointed that out (see notes on page), so I'm fairly certain the ones marked complete are correct on Chaos. On Order, if someone could verify they're correctly marked built, that'd be great. I'm just wondering if someone might have checked the box based on the name, which could be wrong. I'll go and verify Blight now, so just check Order shard, please :)
I've added a new entry:
Aughundell Stoneworking Shelter (T3) - 251/251
This is the shelter by the granite up high in the Aughundell mines (near the iron).
It wasn't added previously because it seems the building was removed from the game during 270-272 update and not on the list I had available.
Don't worry, devs added the building back to the game and will appear on Delta 275!
Also fixed these entries on map pack.

Looks like all known bugs were fixed with today's delta 275. Page has all bugged checkboxes and bug notes wiped out. Don't forget the Aughundell Stoneworking Shelter (granite up in mountains by the Iron) 251/251 is now restored and on live shards today.

Recent adjustments to buildings' rotation and/or position slightly (Delta 276):
183/245 Abandoned Isle Clothworking Center (T2) - Moved and rotated so the building no longer blocks road, ramps align with road
254/251 Aughundell Ore Refinery (T3) - Building moved away from mountain so the machines are visible and not hidden inside the mountain
246/259 New Rachival Clothworking Center (T3) - Building rotated so the ramps align with the road
234/221 Dark Forest Essence Circle (T2) - Rotated so ramp aligns with road. Adjusted Elm region slightly so trees don't grow "inside" the building.
257/243 Feladan Woods Clothworking (T5) - Adjusted so ramps aren't floating in air (gnome friendly)
252/349 Trandalar E Stoneworking Shelter (T3) - Adjusted building away from mountain
234/201 Vandus March Clothworking Center (T2) - Rotated so ramps face road
If you notice any other buildings that have some odd positioning, that should be repositioned, please report location so devs can verify and move, if appropriate.

Sure, easy enough. Added sort by Tier and sort by Region, too.
Also added a search box to search the Community Building name. So could also search "t5" and only see T5 buildings, or "Saritova" to see all Saritova buildings, etc

theres a new T4 shop, Valley of Tears Clothworking Center at 268/267. Theres no silk there, could the shop be moved to around 26848/26125. At least theres a bit of silk across the road from this location. Maybe add some bountiful and abundants too? :)

also there appears to be lots of bright orbs and essence down where he wood and cloth shop is that we are asking you move the cloth shop but you could add an essence channeler instead of the cloth shop at that spot. or near there.

I agree, the silk is a very long distance to the building and there a nice amount of bright essences in the area, but no essence circle.
Since it seems that the Valley of Tears Clothworking Center at 268/267 hasn't been built on any shards yet, this makes it easy and possible.
Devs replaced the Clothworking Center with an Essence Circle. Valley of Tears Clothworking Center is now Valley of Tears Essence Circle.
Added a new Clothworking Center at 268/260 nearer the Silk. This will be called Last Stand Clothworking Center.
This will be on Delta 278. Please don't build the Valley of Tears Clothworking Center, as it will be replaced on delta and waste time/effort contributed.

Machines are half buried in hillside, the anvil all you can see is the flag above it.
Is the cobalt here tied to another area, hasn't been any here for several days now.
Also the silk at 268/262 just northeast has not respawned either. Can an area be turned off so as not to respawn?

Fixed the Ore refinery. Well actually wound up having to move it over to the left a bit, to the grassy area so that it wasn't on a hilly terrain. Was impossible to get the machines to appear, without half the refinery floating in the air :rolleyes:
Thanks for mentioning the Cobalt and Silk. Upon investigation, these aren't setup very well. I think devs were trying to break up scattered links, but likely missed a few.
The cobalt is linked to another spawn (not even on map pack, I didn't even know this spawn existed) at 271/273. That's why the cobalt doesn't respawn, it wouldn't until that other link got mined. I'll break that link to 271/273. Not sure if that will continue to be cobalt/platinum or replaced with another resource, or removed altogether. Will have to look at the area closely and what machines are nearby.
The silk, that's even worse, its linked to 8 different regions, no where close to each other (scattered across the world). I'll break all 8 of those links into its own unique spawn and adjust the qty appropriately to each region. They shouldn't be setup like this.
These fixes will be on Delta 278 (not the pending 276-277 currently on Blight).

I heard there are machines in Drakul and useless machines somewhere in Dralk region not near resources.

There are 3 machines in the vicinity of Dralk. They all seem to be correctly near appropriate resources.
Deer now spawns in vicinity of Desert Shore Tannery.
Frostwatch Clothworking Center (T4) is now Frostwatch Gem Cutting Shack (T4)
Delta 278.

The location of the child object you want to put is not within the parent struture's ouline.
The spelling mistakes are within the actual message. the logging camp seems too close to the clothworking center and is partly in the air.

Thanks for the post, Ryin. Let me investigate this more. For sure we can try to move the building more so it's not half in the air and half underground (I hope). It's in an odd spot. But I was able to activate the machines with the same method that players use: Right click, Access Structure, then clicked the Activate button. I didn't use any special voodoo, it just activated without any errors. I'm wondering if you might've had some old cache that might've caused that message. The building and region boundaries was adjusted last delta, so I'm wondering if maybe you had a cache of the old region boundaries which triggered that message. I can't prove it, but I'm thinking if you had a cleared cached when you tried to activate it, it likely would've worked. I'll take another crack at adjusting the building position, but it's very close to the region boundaries and not sure if it can be made perfect (wood bench is currently half buried in the ground, but the right side is partially in air from that hill there...

The T5 Stoneworking Shelters both ask for 100 Ironsilk Bolts and Tapestries. Surely they should ask for 50 to keep them in line with all the other Stoneworking Shelters?
