Resources by Tier

Having been unable to find this anywhere as a quick-reference, I mined an HZ resource site for it and figure I would share.

A few comments:

1) I almost left Leather out because of how convoluted the system is, but left it in for completeness.

2) Not certain if some Tier 6 resources are available in-game.

3) I believe that all Tier 5 resources have to be cleansed from existing T5 Blighted Resources and...

4) If you want a Tier 6 resource you must transmute the cleansed T5 into that resource as there are no available T6 nodes in-game.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.

T5 is gathered like the previous tiers, no cleansing needed. There are also some T6 resources available to harvest (like travertine, thornwood), and you can also get some of them as bonus resources from T5 nodes.

Tier 1 Hide: animalhide and maggothide are missing. Higher tier, not sure which (think IV): Kwellen hide

Tier 3, metal: would be gold and nickel (steel = nickel + iron).

T6 clay is porcelain. But afaik, it's not used in anything.

Well, I wanted to have the finished products. Nickel is the T3 resource that you use to make your T3 Steel bars. I thought that it would be a slightly confusing to any new players to see nickel and no T3 recipes that called for it.

And I really wish that I could edit my first post.

Nice guide this will help me out. Now where to find these? I am just moving on to tier 2 metal and don't know where to mine it at.

most peeps to aug, it think, jeff, but i like summit, above mahagra......
take the west road up the mountain thru snowfall, and just before you get to the top, you will see a turnoff thru a stone 'eyehole' on your left.
go thru the eyehole and you will come on a metal working station on your right. go around and over the little ridge/hill behind the mws and you will come on a whole field of gold, iron, and nickel nodes. a little further on is a gemstone field (tier 3, i believe - citrine, aquamarine, jasper). no nasties, a mws in easy and safe reach. great place to do your iron/steel, if you ask me!!
