I'm under the impression that some kid keeps telling his/her super rich daddy to keep this game running cause he/she likes a game with dragons. I don't know how this game keeps going.

and:
lots of us pay (for more than 1 acount) but do not play atm.

Still lots of us want the game to stay alive (and kicking^^). Its a lot vet players can do to support this.

I did. I reupped my two accounts. I was here for beta with Adaarye but have been gone more than here. I hate I can't get my favorite play partner to come back but he refuses. Maybe if I send enough screenies of my plots I'm working on, lol ...

lots of players play on Chaos. however. the majority of them only talk to members of their close friend circles (clicks) So if they don`t know you, you might be completely ignored. I find the community on Order is much more welcomeing.
Seems all the really nice players on Chaos either quit Istaria, or moved to Order. so you might get better luck there.

If on chaos, most of us hang out in Marketplace channel. Not very much market business there, we pretty much use it as a world wide channel. So don't be afraid to speak in there about non-market things ;)

yeah most of us hang out in market channel so i would'nt say the server is quiet far from it :)

Like LOVWYRM stated I am as well a former player who cannot get himself to play again, but would miss my lairs, dragons and ped too much to stop payment for my 2 accounts...

Hmm, I haven't been playing this for a long time now myself, and am upset I never quite got in to Order. But I have to admit, that I have always missed the game, heck, even hearing the New Trismus music recently on a stream brought back delightful memories.

Can't deny, at times I wish I were still playing. :)
