is there possibily to import your own music to game ?
sry try it now screwed server last night a bit :P
:o Technically yes you can... GO through all the folders looking for mp3's and make a list of your own and rename each song to match the ones the game uses... Make a backup of your custom list as when a full scan occures the files will be overwritten with the ones the game uses...
u can but i madea patcher so it goes easlyer so u dont need to do copy past etc :P
*mutters* I also made a installation program for it and its big but I have the space for it. *grins*

i dont find the dl to this music :(
ok found the dl on this site ^^
but zips :( i have to copy them to hz folder?
No, don't copy the zips to the hz folder. They'll get deleted on your next full patch.
What I did was the following:
Create a folder in My documents and store all the .ZIP files there (ambient files).
Open a new window and browse to your Horizons directory. You're looking for the Music folder.
Copy the Music folder to My documents.
Rename Music to Music Ambient.
Right click on Ambient files and choose "Open in New Window" (easier to do this than file cut and paste).
Double click on Music Ambient.
Now, given that I'm running WinXP, I just double clicked on each of the .ZIP files, selected all the compressed files within, and dragged them into Music Ambient. The main point is to take all the new sound files from every .ZIP file and put them into the one folder together. You will be replacing music files, so when you get asked if you're sure, say "Yes".
Now, go to your Horizons folder and find the folder named Music. Rename it to Music orig (something so it's NOT Music). DO NOT DELETE this folder. Every new patch, you will have to bring this back as Music before doing the update or the patcher will re-download every music file.
Copy Music Ambient to that location.
Finally, rename Music Ambient to Music.
After every patch, I've found I've had to again copy Music Ambient over, rename Music, and rename Music Ambient, but it's a small price compared to the better sounds.
...you know, there IS a 'readme' file, that explains what you have to do to get it working - it's pretty simple...
good improvement >^o-o^<
Not sure if this is old news or not, but the resources_override folder seems to be working now, at least for music!
It does???
Yes. I have taken your sound files and put them in /Horizons/resources_override/sound/music and the game is picking them up.
not really - there's a bit of birdsong in forests, and a few howls around wolves, but that's about it. The modified files got loads more...
