heals for 40-55 5% chance from hits
the +75 health is an stat always applied
and it heals 5% of the time when attacked by non spell attacks, when it heals its for 40 to 55 points
I was getting my info from the lexica website, and it didn't specify the heal value. Also the site said said the tech can be applied to armor piece, when in game it says only to shield or scale.

only the cure for 40 to 55 points is done 5% if an attack comes in.
Ad least that how i read it if not I would say its a bug
There was a recent update that changed the technique to be applied only to certain scales, so the Lexica is simply outdated in that regard.
The amount of healing isn't written on the tooltip, but I can look into adding it for clarity. However, if memory serves me right, gkoster's information is correct - it is a 5% chance when you are hit to heal for a certain amount. The +75 health is a regular stat bonus on its own and not related to the 5%.
