Really basic (Level 5) mage trainer quest in NT

I've just started a new char, and have left Spirit Isle and done the gifted quests. I'm now trying to go through some of my class trainer quests, but have managed to get myself stuck on the first one.

Basically, I have to use the "Engulf" ability 3 times (done, takes about 2 minutes :p), and collect 5 undamaged spider hatchling eyes - this is not as easy as it sounds.

I must have scummed the hatchlings for about 20 minutes, going up 2 character levels in the process, and finding well over 50 damaged eyes, but not 1 single undamaged eye -- what am I doing wrong?

Apologies, I've worked it out -- You need to kill non-hatchling spiders to get the undamaged hatchling eyes ... :)
