New K/B key bindings and right click
OK first off I really find the new right click thing bad and not at all to use, My main issue I ran into today is just how do I scribe something from inventory , R-Click does nothing nor is there some little silly icon thing to let me scribe items
help pleas and PLEASE make an option to go back to the old right click / left click thing.
Thank You
Re: New K/B key bindings and right click
I'm trying to reproduce the problem you're describing. I can right click a spell in my inventory and am displayed the scribe menu. I know this sounds strange, but could you try clicking faster with the mouse? If I can reproduce, I'll document for the devs.
To disable the new camera controls, please:
1. Click Game Gem
2. Click Options
3. Click Camera tab
4. Uncheck Free / Mouse Look with Mouse

Re: New K/B key bindings and right click
Thank You for the response, I cheated and loaded into "live" and disabled patching, I'm a south paw and "older" so my hands do not work as fast as they did 30 years ago, So I will try later or just leave it unpatched for now, also I messed up my right index finger so it is mostly out of commission. I will get my son to see if that solves the issue and I can figure out some way to reverse the R/L buttons in game.
Andy.
Re: New K/B key bindings and right click
Just a quick update that the client on Blight at 384.105 has the click speed required reduced for both left and right buttons - so that should help with your issue.
Re: New K/B key bindings and right click
Thank You, I will give it a go, as of now I have all the carpet out of the computer room and stripping the hardwood floors so may be till Monday I can give it a go.

Re: New K/B key bindings and right click
most holy el -
go to the options, sorry i can't remember which tab but i believe it is the last one. scroll down and disable mouselook.
that should cure all your right click probs
Re: New K/B key bindings and right click
I had this problem on Blight as well, and I'm pretty sure I traced it back to something to do with my character's prefs files.
Try moving your prefs to a temporary backup location, and then letting the game generate fresh prefs for you. See if that fixes the problem.
If it does, you might consider sending in your "broken" prefs via support so that the devs might track down the exact issue!
Also, there is an option to disable the mouse-based camera controls. It is at the bottom of the page in the Camera tab.
