...........place a signature (picture)? I know to some of you this may be obvious but not to me [:S] "thick as two planks" [:$] Took me few weeks before I got round to avatar too (avatar resizer that is)[8-)]

in your signature area of your profile then type in img /img but with the img inside these [] that should work
You first need your image hosted on the internet, preferably within your own webspace provided by your ISP, free web hosts tend to have low bandwidth limits making your image not display after a while.
Say that your webspace is at www.yourisp.com/yourspace and you have successfully put your image sig.jpg into that space, then you would need to put this in your signature [*IMG]http://www.yourisp.com/yourspace/sig.jpg[*/IMG]
or might be in the form of www.yourspace.yourisp.com so would be [*IMG]http://www.yourspace.yourisp.com/sig.jpg[*/IMG]
(Remove the *'s to make it actually work)
Your webspace might differ though.
