I'm stuck at work and can't log in, so I've been playing with the plot template spreadsheet I found in another thread here. How accurate is that? I'm having some problems.
Currently I have a 51x51 plot and in-game I can line up 9 Tier 2 silos across the top edge, with a little room on each end. In the spreadsheet though, I can only fit 7 across.
Are the footprints in that template accurate? Or is there a better offline plot planner out there?
It is accurate to a degree but the problem becomes that you are limited to squares inside of Excel and Sillos and such are not the same shape so you can fit more ingame. It does give you a good rough idea of what can fit.
Well, at least for silos, it seems to be off. In-game I can fit 9 side-by-side without rotating them 22 degrees, and there's almost room for a 10th. In the template, I can only fit 7 and it's full.
I'll keep playing with it :)
