Evening,
I've re-downloaded Istaria after a few years. I currently have a 1440p monitor and can barely read any of the text in non chat windows. I had adjusted the text in the chat windows to get them working. I've upscaled the UI to 4k and put the game into Borderless Window mode, which it seems to prefer. I've poked around the forums and had found the options I mentioned earlier but not much else.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Did you select 1440x3440 in the resolution pull down?

I have 2560x1440 selected, yes.
You can also scale the UI to 8K if necessary, does that help? Could you perhaps post a screenshot to make it easier to see what you mean?

This is a small screen cap of a few of the windows. It's a bit hard to read things like health and what not. I changed my monitor to a 1920x1080 one I had an have the same problem. Tested with all the settings combos I could think of.

I see, so 4K is too small, and 8K is too big to confirm?
Please try the following:
Make a backup of your Istaria/prefs folder, this contains all your saved UI layouts and so on for restoring if things don't work out!
Type this into the ingame chat while the game is running:
/setpref uiScaleEnum -1
/setpref uiScale 2.2
This will scale the UI to a theoretical 6K, it isn't supported by the game yet but if it solves your problem we can add it! Make sure your resolution is high enough to support larger scale, you can reset it back to normal with /setpref uiScale 1 if necessary.
