ARoP - Rune of Ascension, 3 days and gone?

Greetings all! ^^

Me and my friend Rufy Scale has just completed ARoP and got the Rune of Ascension.
But now I am wondering if we could wait a week until we explode or is this rune going to disappear within 3 days?
I heard that rumor alooooong time ago, like 5 years or so, as a hatchie that if you didn't use it within 3 days it would be gone.
I thought they removed this but we were told by some that it is still in effect and to go ancient now.
Is this true? Is that 3 days thing still activated? :(

I'm pretty sure the three day thing is a rumor, I can't imagine anything having a '3 day limit' to it - the Rune of Ascension also is an item that you use that requires nothing like the Time's Ripple buff so unless you can somehow have an item with a perishing time limit, I doubt it. I've seen people wait a long time to ascend and nothing bad happened either.

Also good luck with waiting a week on an ancient ascension, I can't do that myself, I'd go mad. :D

I know a player, Pharaxes, who has completed the ARoP a long time ago, and chosen to stay to the Adulthood. Nowadays, Pharaxes is yet an adult.

I'm well aware of Pharaxes too, he was the leader of my guild for a long period of time and generally the only other resident in the guild chat. Staying an adult forever is obviously quite possible, the concern is whether you're forced to stay an adult forever after 3 days with the RoA. :P With Phara, whether he has his rune of ascension still or not is the question.

Still, my thoughts still stand on this being a silly rumor.

I am glad this is just a rumor xD
I thought ti strange otherwise, why should they put that in game and so on.

I am slowly going crazy here for not ascending now, but waiting for friends, guess I have to endure XD!

It really is a rumour. Fact is: I never got it. Because I'm at step 26 of the ARoP for many years now and don't want to lose my Ancient Lunus Head Scale when I'm not ascending :D

Me and Rufy waited until the weekend, and as stated here it is a bad rumor.
We are now happy ancients and fighting our way thru the blighted forces! ^^

I sure hope it`s a rumor. I just finished ARoP on a character, and am waiting for his mate to catch up before ascending. O.o
Which could be anywhere between a month to a year+ Reason I finished ARoP is due to the uncertainty of Order`s player population. (Which seems to be dwindling) Getting a rift run group is next to impossible these days. So Hope my rune will still be there when the time comes. :O

I waited a week and it was still there, safe and sound in my inventory when we ascended! :)

yeah it seems just like a false rumour i dont see the reason that you must complete your ascension as soon as you finish the AROP quest seeing how its a thing you need to use to ascend. Have fun ascending later darkwing! :)
