lost murails?

while buiding our new lair, we found out, that we are not able to build the

Gnomekindle 2008 Honorable mention

" Ice Dragon "

" Winter Dragon"

" Breath of Ice"

" Wink of Winter`s Dust"


again, because we are missing the pattern sets.

Total blackout here.. any ideas how to get those?
We tried a lot of things- but in vain.

If it was an unique thing-
anyone willing to trade with us? You name the price^^
We plan to have ALL murals there are , lair is build around them^^

You might ask other players if they have the patterns available. I might have some on Chaos.

I believe the patterns were meant to be event rewards. So a 1 time thing.

Remember, when deconning a mural you don't get the pattern back (which sucks btw). Be nice if it was at least a chance to get it back. I believe that since deconning only returns 80% of the resources, and you can't get 80% of a single item, and since it rounds down when doing the 80% of x number of units applied calculation, that you basically get 0 out of 1 pattern recovered. If just murals and banners were set to give 100% resources back would fix it, or set it to round up instead of down when calculation the number of units to be returned on a decon. I know it rounds down somehow because on something I deconned, where I knew 1 particular resource was 100 applied units, it gave me only 79 novians... Rounding up isn't going to be giving players massive amounts of extra novians, it would just prevent the game from ripping us off of novians, plus should allow patterns to be recovered also.

Although maybe the reason is that there isn't a provision for a novian pattern.. I guess that could be a problem also...

I ran a storage character through the banner quest and now have 4 patterns for you. Tricky part is trying to find a time when we are both awake! I'll try getting on in the mornings and see if I can catch you.

And yes- something should be done, that we could get back patterns, we once had.

I agree with lov lot of the murals even the new ones seem to be unusable and it is such a waste.

The returning of the patterns, during deconstruction of plot banner/mural, has been attempted to be tackled off an on over time. We finally have come up with a working solution. I'm replying to this very old thread because I've had it bookmarked and knew one day it'd likely be worked on. Sorry for such a long delay.

During today's maintenance (Chaos/Order reboot), there was a sim fix applied that will allow patterns (or any resource in game, that uses quantity of 1, during construction) to be returned as a Novian.

I should point out that this doesn't mean any resource, with a quantity of 1 (one) will be returned as Novian. It just means any item the devs decide upon can be returned (bypassing the 80% rounding down to 0).

Unfortunately not all patterns are already setup to return Novians and this is now completed for Delta 304.

However, these patterns were already setup and will return a Novian if deconstructed (beginning today):

Anniversary Celebration Pattern Set
Gnomekindle Pattern Set 1 (these are used for Gnomekindle 2008 - 4 different banner/murals) - But these are also available from quest Banner Days (Weekly) from Hermey.
