Questions about transferring a plot

I came back to the game after a long absence. In so doing, I realized several things. First, I don't really like being a Sslik any more. A lot has changed and it might be fun to re-experience starting a new char and working up from the bottom again.

So, I plan to roll a new char and I want to switch my plot to that new char. I know I can set a sale price of something like 5c, log out, and then have the alt log in and buy it. My question is, once I do that, will I be able to sell the plot back to the community at a later time for it's original price? (less the 5% commission of course). Or am I throwing away the 1g 500s I paid for the plot by doing that?

Also, buildings (partial or complete) will transfer in the sale, right?

Think you need someone in the middle, you can''t buy your alts plot because you(r account) allready has a plot.

Oops. Didn't think of that :(

Could I create a new character with a 14 day trial account and use that character to do the switch? Or are trial characters permitted to buy plots?

My problem is I've been gone from the game so long, I don't know any body :)

Think that is an option, didn't hear of trialaccounts not able to buy a plot.
As far as I know the building will stay and the price you'd eventually get for selling it back to the community is the "normal" price, not the 1c you paid your other char for it :)

Another plea for equal plot rights of alts here!
With equal rights you wouldn't have to go to all this trouble.

Yes you can create a trial account to do the swap. I have had to do this for a plot transfer. Just make sure you cancel the trial account when you are finished.

Or you can ask in game for someone who doesn't own a plot to help you transfer. If your on Chaos send me a tell and I may be able to help.
