Maimai Nalnair (was created on Chaos during dark times)...

Main: Dryad was created way back on one off the original EU servers.
Secondary: Satyr was created on Chaos after Unity was closed down.

I sort off think thats the problem

As Steelclaw put it in the Vista tread not quite ready for live yet

Blight and the other shards are using different versions off the client
the one used on Blight makes it possible to play using the Vista os
that client will be patched to the other shards as soon...

If you have patched with the vista fix from blight and know what you are doing you can restart as much as you want dosnt matter anymore-

many off are using the vista fix/patch on chaos/order...

Suggest reinstall and not install in C:\Program Files but in C:\games
Vista dont like people fidling with file permissions and things like that in C:\Program Files

Managed to log onto Blight following the instructions.
Used Fridlekh´s workaround to avoid patching and logged onto Chaos just before maint.
See you in the game after maint

Had the same problem, figured out the URL that the play Istaria on my desktop used was messed up.
Deleted it and made a new one works fine now.

I agree with most off what you wrote except the hoard issue
1 silver gives you 100 hoard, so unless you are maxed out or can get hoard very fast is hoard at 1/2 hoard value a ok deal.

No there is a check for current class current lvl and base skill

the difference between base and current comes from
1.stat boost off skill including beneficiel spells cast and stat boost...

The class is not broken the only problem is that you (chose) to refuse to lvl the most effecint way realy not the games fault nor other players
