And just like every year... here's my "Thank you!" post for those who still remember about me :)

I left the online gaming industry in 2007 (although I still miss it) and I'm now employed in another "gaming" business... poker! I'm event manager for one of the major companies in Italy, so my job...

I came here since I received the same newsletter last night just to check if others received it as well and I believe this thread confirms it.

Just a quick statement from my side to clear a few...

EI wouldn't need to purchase anything, we surely don't have any copyright on the word Unity.

Furthermore, if we are working with EI to realize this transfer and already giving out for free all...

As stated we are ready to do a full transfer of the 26GB of in-game information stored on Unity's datatabase. That is both technically and legally possible.

But if this is going to happen or not...

The answer is yes to all your questions, as soon as the detailed plan for the transfer is ready we are going to mail it to all the present and past users of Horizons in Europe.

As explained account information and consequently personal information can be transfered for usage of another company only with the consent of each user.

In game information are useless if not...

1. what kind of character data will be transfered?
- Character? This should be a yes
- Plots? (whole plots or only plot tokens, novians, etc?) No information about this yet
- Items...

No, you just have to wait for the whole transfer plan to be released in detail. As soon as there will be more news on this everything will be posted promptly.
