Default Your Input here!!! Size of ancients should be??

few rules for this post plz. A. this isnt for long posts etc and trying to convince anything. all i want here is yyour opinion on Ancient size. Old model? new model? and a brief reason why you made your choice. try to get others on line shards etc to post here their opinion as well. This is meant to give a look at the communities preference w/o lotsa distractions.

I prefer the old ancient model.

I like the lore immersion and the way friends and others reacted upon seeing me upon completion of ascwnding. I also loved the longer tail and leaner, more streamlined body shape with a much nicer appearance in running and flight.

My unwavering choice would be the initial ancient model.

I want to be that scaled monolith of yesterday rather than the fracking brachiosaurus of today - and even a brach' had its great tallness whereas the new ancient model retains only the freakishly long neck.

I'm all for the old model as well.
Failing that, they should shrink the Hatchlings and Adults and proportionaly scale down the old model to something larger than the current Adult model.

    Old Model.

    1. We've seen it for 2 years. It's what we expected. It's what the devs told us time and time again "Lookie how cool you will be when you become Ancient".
    2. Better-proportioned.
    3. Easier for bipeds to see mobs underneath.
    4. No way someone can mistake even the smallest Ancient as an Adult.

    Old model, hands down.

Building on what everyone else has said, I loved how my proportions worked, I just
    looked right.

Old Model, this is just getting silly. It was fine, if its not broken don't fix it.

Same here, well... not exactly actually. :p Just wish I could have a small-ish albeit long body with large though tapered wings.

I'm happy with the current size, but hooboy, does the model needs a change.

    defineatly OLD MODEL

    why?

Because many old dragons have waited now for 2 years to become ancient and they saw often enough the impressive npc ancients.

so give back the ancient to the ancients ![li]

I prefer the old model as well, jumbo size.

I think Ancient Dragons should be able tore-size themselves to a smaller size. i.e. when we turned adult we got khutit (however slow it is to use) it would be a great ability for Ancients to re-size themselves at will without transforming to a bi-ped form (I find that insulting).

As it stands most dragons use /setscale on themslves to get around the bounding box problems.

    Old model. Old size.

for the "option" of grouping with bipeds they could improve khutit's stats. but this would only be the option. If you happen to have fussy bipeds around it could be used. However I group regularly with bipeds who have no problem at all with dragon's size.

I couldn't care less, to be honest.

But, seeing as how the Ancient models have been ingame as NPCs for, what, a year plus now, it's VERY disconcerting, not to mention careless, to only realise now that there's a playability problem with the size of the model. Did they not actually bother to try it out? Or did they just not bother to plan ahead to us actually becoming ancient? Either way, it's pretty irresponsible.

That's my only problem with this whole issue - the bait and switch technique, not the actual size of either the old or new models.

Old model and size, definitely... provided they work.

It's a continuity issue for me. Since RoP, we've seen Ancient NPCs. All that time, that is what we saw, and that is what we associated with Ancient.

Old Model, Old size. Personaly I saw no issues with the old model. Both have been in the game for quite some time. I see no reason to have changed it at all.
