After the last up date I have tryed to make item but it takes hafe an hour to get the formulas to download & then you cant because the preveiw thingy is missing whats going on apart from it being SNAFU

Missing preview work around if not preventing you from creating:
Reopen the same recipe again.

try emptying your world cache. i have no trouble opening forms, or seeing previews

Playing on Unity? The database was exhibiting unusually strong lagginess after maintenance, making things like opening forms, using buffs or looting mobs intermittently - or comletely - impossible. Things seem to have smoothed out now.
