Thread: The New and Improved Trivia Thread

Default The New and Improved Trivia Thread

Long ago and far away, and especially on Patch Days, we had a trivia thread and I thought I'd revive it here. The rules are simple: the first person to answer correctly has the obligation to post the next trivia question, and NO GOOGLING for answers.

    I'll start:

Only four athletes have won both Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player in the same season in their respective professional sports. Name them.
Before you criticize anyone, walk a mile in his shoes. Then, when you criticize him, you'll be a mile away. And you'll have his shoes.

    And the answer is . . .

    1) Wilt Chamberlain

    2) Michael Jordan

    3) Fred Lynn

    4) Ichiro Suzuki

As there were no right answers, I'll ask another:

What were the only two Latin American countries to send troops to fight the Axis powers in World War II?

Ok, you said Latin America, so I'm running my mind all up and down the thin stretch of land between the U.S. and Columbia.

If you're including South America, my guesses would've been different. Tjl has Brazil, I'm guessing Argentina.

Yup. The aircraftuses a 4-channel flight control system (or so I hear), so it has four pitot tubes.
