    Default Mappack woes...

Has something changed in the way TG handles map files? I cannot for the life of me get my clientUI to run using any of the mappack addons -- but they were running fine yesterday when I logged off.

I can delete and remove all traces of Cobol's v3.2 mappack (my personal favorite) and the game runs fine. I re-install the mappack, game won't bring up the map, and sometimes merely hitting the hotkey to bring up the map will crash the game.

I have run down every other possible scenario I can think of in the now 14 hours I've been chasing down this forum lead and that. I have also rebuilt my UIPersonal.def file to reflect it's old values, other than the mappack of course. All that worked well -- still no mappack maps, I have to use the defaults.

Could you possibly look into this, Cobol?

    Cheers!

I had some issue with the mappack too some time ago. Check this:

Open the file ClientPrefs_Main.def located in your character preference folder.
    Locate the line "string mapPath".
Make sure it point to something that really is there and if it's pointing to the "resources_override" folder, that everything is there too.
