I have searched and find dead links to the information pertaining to the alternate breath weapons. Does anyone have any of this stored outside the forums that they can paste back in? Thanks in advance.

I'll have to poke you in the world... I remember a /few/ things about it but not a great deal many. I might be able to find the cave with the dragon in it... I know he/she lurks near Selen somewhere. You'll be instructed to go get precious metals from the satyr islands.... You'll need to stop by Kirasanct and do those quest to get the formula for them.

Dragon Alternate Breath Weapons.

All - Breath of Fire III.

Kelakhan (Breath of Fire III)(/PrintPos 27174, 22550)
Selen: Head east out of town following the road. When you reach /PrintPos 26865,22528 fly almost due north to the top of the plateau. Inside the cave you will speak with Kelakhan. He asks you to speak to Hethsa the Patient at the top of the Peak of Storms, at the edge of the cliff where you became an adult. /PrintPos 14689,19569. After you speak to Hesthsa the Patient, return to Kelakhan and he asks you to search the southern end of the Isle of Elnath.

Dralk: Fly due east to /PrintPos 20929,28428 and enter the Satyr Cave to the teleporter to the island of Elnath. On Elnath first thing to do is obtain enough Elnathian silver to create 10 bars as you will be asked to get some, might as well do that while you are here. Then fly southwest to /PrintPos 15957/19183 to the ruined gazebo-like structure. Here your quest will update. Return to Kelakhan and he will ask you to obtain a Flame Bone Splinter and 10 Elnathian Silver Bars.

Note: You must physically loot the shard requested.
Kion: Fly nearly due north to the Nature Tower at /PrintPos 19470,26290 in this area you will find many many elemental skeletons. They all have a nearly 0% chance to drop the elemental splinter of their type. However, if you kill the Bone Golem Leaders they have a MUCH higher chance of dropping them and they can drop all 3 types. Return to Kelakhan with 20 glowing essence. He will ask you to return in 1 hours time for your potion, but first he wants you to tell Breath of Fire about the Runes.

Falathian or Morning Light: From whichever you prefer fly due South or Northeast to the island. At the Tower of Summoning (/PrintPos29420,28010) speak to Breath of Fire. Return to Khelakhan after the 1 hours time to receive your potion. Just use your potion and you will receive the Breath of Fire III ability.


Lunus - Breath of Lightning.

Dralk: Speak to Valkoth the Ancient(/PrintPos 22687/28929). He asks you to speak to Kelakhan.

Selen: Head east out of town following the road. When you reach /PrintPos 26865,22528 fly almost due north to the top of the plateau. Inside the cave you will speak with Kelakhan. He asks you to acquire an Energy Bone Splinter and 10 Dahibian Silver Bars.

Kion: Fly nearly due north to the Nature Tower at /PrintPos 19470,26290 in this area you will find many many elemental skeletons. They all have a nearly 0% chance to drop the elemental splinter of their type. However, if you kill the Bone Golem Leaders they have a MUCH higher chance of dropping them and they can drop all 3 types.

Kirasanct: Fly east out of town to /PrintPos 24989/28464 and enter the Satyr Cave. Once you reach the island follow the shore on the left till you locate some Dahibian Silver. Obtain enough ore to create 10 Dahibian Silver Bars. Return to Kelakhan with 20 glowing essence. He will ask you to return in 2 hours. Once you obtain your potion, simply drink it and you will now have your Breath of Lightning.


Helian - Breath of Ice.

Chiconis: Speak to Semeneth the Ancient(/PrintPos 24495,22329). He asks you to speak to Kelakhan.

Selen: Head east out of town following the road. When you reach /PrintPos 26865,22528 fly almost due north to the top of the plateau. Inside the cave you will speak with Kelakhan. He asks you to acquire a Frost Bone Splinter and 10 Algedian Silver Bars.

Kion: Fly nearly due north to the Nature Tower at /PrintPos 19470,26290 in this area you will find many many elemental skeletons. They all have a nearly 0% chance to drop the elemental splinter of their type. However, if you kill the Bone Golem Leaders they have a MUCH higher chance of dropping them and they can drop all 3 types.

Aughundell: Fly southeast out of town to /PrintPos 26202,24904 and enter the Satyr Cave. Once you reach the island of Alged you locate some Algedian Silver. Obtain enough ore to create 10 Algedian Silver Bars. Return to Kelakhan with 20 glowing essence. He will ask you to return in 2 hours. Once you obtain your potion, simply drink it and you will now have your Breath of Ice.

Just a little note: actually to find the splinter - flame, energy or ice - is necessary to kill mighty skeleton (lvl range 65 - 80).
Bone golem leaders were for the first version of the quest, the following update requested greater skeleton but today needing the mighty.

ug... many a mighty skeleton has proven to be less than mighty in this questto find the splinters.... as of yet, not a one has been found. Is there any particular type of mighty skeleton that drops them or rare and random?

Random and so incredably rare that it is possiable to slay them for 8hrs a day for a week straight and STILL not get one.

Don't worry and be patient, first or later you'll find it. On unity I have helped 3 young adult to find their splinter in the past weeks. It took more or less a week (3 hour in the evening) but at the and there are 2 complete Lunus with breath of lithning an breath of fire III and an Helian with breath of Ice and breath of fire III too. So, find a good gruop of friend and be patient

one more note about this...
you should ALWAYS talk to kelekhan FIRST. that way you can take both quests at once. that way you have better chances of at least getting _one_ splinter you need.
