I'd like to see things along the lines of loincloths, armbands, tail decorations, head dresses, beads for feathers, etc...

Sslik Dresswear is featured in character creation, and on one of the Nature Tower NPC's. All the information for it is in game, the only problem is that it isn't in game as a formula.
Its under Horizons/Resources/Definitions/Attach/Armor/social_sc07
It * should* be possible to modify some files in order to make different clothing look like the Sslik Dresswear (I.E. replace Feladan Fashion Wear).
